Cabo Verde week 2

Hi i'm Ruby. I am here to tell you about this week, 
in school I've  been writing sooooooooooo much.
It's been driving me scadoodles!

I got my  uniform! (photo to follow)
I've also been doing other stuff like going to piano class which was so fun and going to the pool which was wacky fun!

Tita (Ruby's buddy in ballet, playdates, pool outings and...performances...she danced and Ruby drummed: )

I went to a birthday party and played games and got my face painted. (see below)

Cabo Verde week  1

Hi I’m Ruby. I’m in Cabo Verde. Since i arrived i have been home spending time with grandpa (Vovo) and grandma (Vóvó) and spending time with some friends. I also went to ballet class. My teachers name is Nicole.

First day of school

Today was my first day of class!

I have a new friend, her name was Adriana, I think...my teacher's name is Veronica. 

It was sooooooo fun!

Yesterday (sunday 15th) I went to the countryside. I saw amazing sites! I saw mountains, green grass, I saw a water falls also.

I saw goats and cows, it is funny that they wag their tails to take out the flies. I went with my great friend Tita and Manuel.

Pink Princess and Healthy Princess

today i asked my mom for the following dinner:

salad with green things (leaves), tomatos, goat cheese and green apples...i also had raw beets.

Mama and I sat eating our healthy meal pretending to be at a restaurant with wine glasses and all (filled with apple juice off course)

i had a great time with Vovo, she took me around following the carnaval procession. I was sooo happy to be a pink princess from head to toe!

Mama was out of control!! and so were Dana and Teresa! now...she is sick!! and she did not even drink anything, she says it was the high from trying to be Angela Davis!!!

i do like this tree...sometimes i tell mama we have to take care of it (it looks sick) but i also told her xmas trees are supposed to have leaves!!!

she insits on some local, biodegradable, recyclable, creative version of a tree...what can i do?!?!
